Want to see a show this Christmas, but not in the mood for a Panto?  Here's a list of great Christmas shows that are not pantomimes!

 

While many people will be looking forward to seeing their favourite celebrities such as Charlie Stemp in Dick Whittington or Chesney Hawkes in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in Panto this Christmas, we know some of you will be looking for something a little different.

With that in mind, here's our round-up of the best Christmas shows that don't involve any audience participation!

Enjoy a new and exciting musical version of the well-loved fairy tale Rapunzel.  Mysterious, romantic and life-affirming, this will be a dramatic re-telling of a story you thought you knew!  Featuring Chickenshed's diverse cast, this magical, musical and mysterious version of Rapunzel will dazzle and delight children and adults alike!

MasterChef winner Natalie Coleman is cooking up a storm nightly at Scrooge's Parlour in the beating heart of Liverpool Street, London's newest immersive dining experience.

You are cordially invited to the parlour of Mr Ebeneezer Scrooge for a rousing rendition of this timeless classic. Through parlour games, festive songs and a little-spirited trickery, we must warm the heart of the bah-humbugging miser. A show about Christmas spirit, caring for those we love, and having good old-fashioned knees-up couldn’t be a more perfect way to warm a cold winter’s evening.

This December, discover The Christmasaurus Live On Stage, a new Christmas spectacular based on the debut novel by McFly star and bestselling children's author Tom Fletcher, at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith.

The Christmasaurus Live On Stage follows the magical adventures of a boy named William Trundle and a most unusual dinosaur called the Christmasaurus. Featuring sleigh bells and singing elves, Santa Claus and flying reindeer, music and magic, it is a tale of adventure, family, friendship and discovering that the impossible might just be possible.

Matthew Bourne's Cinderella - Sadler's Wells Theatre

A chance meeting results in a magical night for Cinderella and her dashing young RAF pilot, together just long enough to fall in love before being parted by the Blitz.

Following the sold-out and critical success of The Red Shoes, New Adventures return to Sadler's Wells for Christmas 2017 with one of their most popular and beloved productions. The thrilling and evocative love story set in London during the Second World War, which forms part of the company's 30th anniversary celebrations.
