The winners have been announced for the 2019 Tony Awards.

Hosted by James Corden and live from Radio City Music Hall, The Tony Awards are a celebration of all things Broadway. New musical Hadestown led the way at the 2019 Tony Awards by winning a total of eight Tony Awards.

James Corden opened the award ceremony with a star studded celebration of this years nominated shows.

Broadway stars Stephanie J. Block and Santino Fontana won the Tony Awards for best Actress and Actor in a leading role in a musical for their performances in The Cher Show and Tootsie.
