Carrie Hope Fletcher will play the title role in the world premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical.
Cinderella opens at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London’s West End in August.
The show is a reimagining of the classic fairytale, and will feature a new score and lyrics from David Zippel – who was the lyricist for City of Angels.
Carrie took to Twitter to reveal the news.

The project came about because of an idea from Emerald Fennell – who’s best known for her work as a writer on the hit TV show Killing Eve. Andrew Lloyd Webber was joined by Emerald and Carrie to tell us what to expect.
