BIG The Musical will makes its West End premiere at the Dominion Theatre this autumn, starring Jay McGuinness.

Based on the classic 1988 film, BIG will make its West End premiere at the Dominion Theatre from September 2019.

Big The Musical will be directed and choreographed by Morgan Young and will star Jay McGuinness as Josh. Jay is currently appearing in Rip It Up at the Garrick Theatre and won Strictly Come Dancing in 2015.

The musical – based on the classic Tom Hanks movie of the same name – sees 12-year-old Josh Baskin make a wish on a Zoltar machine to be “big”. His wish is granted, and Josh has to adapt to life as a 12 year old in a fully grown man’s body.

Further casting is yet to be announced, but currently there are a number of high-profile stars tweeting about the show, including JJ Hamblett, Lee Brennan, Sonny Jay and Heidi Range…
