A new romantic musical comedy gets its world premiere at London’s Charing Cross Theatre in July.
It Happened in Key West – described as “funny” and “shocking” – is inspired by true events on the island of Key West in the 1930s.
The show tells of the attempts by an eccentric scientist who tries to bring his dream girl back to life – after she dies.
The musical is by Broadway composer Jill Santoriello (A Tale of Two Cities) novelist Jason Huza and Jeremiah James, a member of international recording group Teatro.
The show runs for a seven-week season from 4 July – 22 September.
The cast is still to be announced. Stay tuned to Encore Radio on DAB digital radio, online or via our free app for the latest announcements!
