Musical Me – Saturday At Midday
This Saturday (April 14th) at midday, Jamie Crick is joined by the stars of Company for a special edition of Musical Me.
In the new production the role of Bobbi is performed by a woman for the first time and Rosalie Craig talks to Jamie about why such a move shouldn’t be so controversial in this day and age as she takes on the role.
Broadway legend Patti LuPone swore she would never again perform in a musical but has been encouraged to come back to the lyrical stage and to London to be in the show. She talks and sings to Jamie about the impossibility of choosing a favourite Sondheim song.
Mel Giedroyc talks of being in a West End musical and looking forward to it even as she opens in Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing at the Rose Theatre Kingston this weekend.
